Cosmological Formations Series

Cosmological Formations begins with the materiality of watercolor and ink, pooling into striations and islands that evoke distant galaxies or imagined terrains. I respond to emergent shapes and gaps, negotiating a dialogue between organic form and a self-imposed geometric language of line. The work explores contradictions in our relationship to constructed and natural worlds, reflecting our brief presence within vast scales of time. Through shifts of scale, opticality, spatial illusion, and nonlinear time, the paintings playfully probe co-existence, perception, and the interplay between human intention and the unfolding, unpredictable patterns of the cosmos.
